My name is Ricky LeBlanc. I am a native of Des Allemands, Louisiana. My wife is the former Melinda Voisin, native of Bourg, Louisiana. We are South Terrebonne High School grads GO GATORS. I am also a graduate of USL aka the University of Louisiana at Lafayette GO RAGIN' CAJUNS. We currently live (transplanted) in Humble, Texas but our hearts still are in Louisiana.

I started my pursuit of genealogy when I was in high school in 1971 (yes do the math I'm that old) and have been bitten by the genealogy bug ever since.
I served as Scoutmaster of Troop 574 for 5 years and I am now the Troop 574 Advancement Chairman and teach 16 year old youth Sunday School.
Melinda is currently the leader of the Woman's Auxiliary (Relief Society) in our church congregation. We have been active in the Young Men and Young Woman Programs of our Church and are converts since November 1980. Read our conversion stories under the religion link.
